The Letter (Miss Jones)

Buy it or you could right-click and Steal it

Dear Miss Jones,
I’m sorry, but your son’s not coming home. I was a good friend of your son, but I can’t undo the damage that’s been done. He saved my life a time or two, but I can’t bring him back to you. Johnny left us today. They put him on a plain and he flew away. I was with him on his dying day, and this is what he wanted me to say.

“Tell everyone that I loved them, and that I was thinking of them till the end. Don’t let the tears you cry be for me, because we will meet in the end you’ll see”

Now Johnny always told me about his home. Now he’s coming back to you Miss Jones. I wanted you to know he was like my brother. I only wish you didn’t have to suffer. Nothing has been easy now that he is dead.  My only comfort is in what he said.

“Tell everyone that I loved them, and that I was thinking of them in the end. Don’t let the tears you cry be for me, because we will meet in the end you’ll see”

To Miss Jones,
 with my deepest sympathy.
